A ‘party pad’ that was once a favourite haunt of Aussie screen legend Jacki Weaver has gone under the hammer for $912,000.
The two-bedroom, one-bathroom town house in South was originally bought by the 76-year-old’s ex-husband Derryn Hinch in 1980 for $66,000.
The shock jock later married famed actress Jacki in 1983, and that same year sold off the sprawling loft style apartment for $83,500, reports the .
The sale is the fist time the stylish residence has gone under the hammer in 40 years and the new buyers now plan to renovate.
The pad was notorious for a ground floor ‘party spa’ that was once a centrepiece in the days when Derryn was romancing Jacki.

The spa, installed by the controversial media personality, has since been removed.
Situated only 3.3km from the CBD, the home is located inside the City Edge apartment block and features three levels.

A staircase leads to a second level dining and kitchen area which boasts a private balcony.
Meanwhile, the top floor features the bedrooms, which offer walk-in wardrobes.

Jacki made headlines in the 80s and 90s thanks to her dramatic relationship with Hinch.
The couple were married in 1983, only to split in 1996.They later renewed their wedding vows in 1997. But the reconciliation lasted just one year.
